Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Ford Freestar has new air conditioner compressor but the drivers side is still not cooling right.  It has to be on max air and you have to drive it for 15-20 minutes before it begans to get somewhat cool. If you change setting from max to regular it stops cooling completely on drivers side. The other side works fine on all settings.

Definitely get the "O" rings inside the pneumatic selector sw checked. The older the car the more likely it is that these rings get brittle and crack which is causing the air on drivers side to be hot while the passangers runs like it should. Just a guess- but it doesn't hurt to get this checked out, it might very well be your problem

which O ring? where it should be? are you talking about the two knobs selector on the front panel?
