have a 2002 SLK 230 Kompressor, the brake lights do not light up when I step on the brakes. The 3rd light (the brake light on the trunk) works fine and I checked the bulbs and they are still good. Tried to find the fuse in the fuse box but wasn't able to locate it there. Any suggestions?

Hi--I just got my alternator changed today on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS AWD, the D (drive) indicator does not light up when I shift to the drive position? All the rest do light up (R, N, 3, 2 & L)??? Also, ever since I bought the car I have not been able to use the horn, I noticed the horn fuse was missing, but when I put the fuse in, the horn beeps continuously??? windshield washer doesn't work. We checked the fuse inside the car fuse box (it's good) and the relay fuse box area under the hood (the wipers work). I took off the pump and it works when hooked up off the car. The wire powering the pump shows no electricity . Do I have to have the electric wire to the pump checked or could there still be a problem with the relay under the engine hood? Any thoughts? 11 Answers

I turned my 97 Subaru legacy 2.5gt off. When I tried to restart it everything was dead!!! It was like the battery wasn't hooked up. I took the keys out and walked in the house. I looked outside and the tail light were on and the front amber lights were on. I tried to start it and nothing. I cleaned the battery posts but it didn't help. I unhooked the positive cable and put the key in the ignition and turned it on in order to hook the positive cable up. It started just fine, however the running lights are still on and the dash lights are blinking! I turned the engine off and the running lights were still on and the dash lights were still blinking. I had to unhook the positive cable to stop this process. Can anybody out there point me in the right direction??? 1 Answer
