1991 Pontiac LE; It starts and runs great for approx. 1mile or so, it will shut off. Starts back up and shuts down immediately. I've changed fuel pump, fuel filter and idle control censor. I'm thinking (temp. Censor) but I'm obviously not sure! Any help?

Disassemble and hose off and wire brush your battery, the negative connection to the chassis and the chassis connection to the engine. If you've done these things (not fun, but necessary). and you are still having problems, then we will have something to talk about.

I have a 99 pontiac grand am se 3.4L V6. The issue is that it starts and idles fine but as soon as I go to accelerate it just shuts off. It did have overheating issues but right after I fixed those it started doing this. I replaced the cam position sensor and also the engine coolant temp sensor and it didnt help.
