Assuming that your 2006 BMW is Bluetooth compatible itself, all you should really have to to is activate to toggle your Bluetooth setting on your phone from off to on and be inside the car. Sometimes, depending on the cellphone, you may have to do this a couple of times, but once it recognizes your vehicle, it will instruct you to insert the PIN# shown on the phone in the car. All else fails, look up the "how to" guide from your cell provider or phone manufacturer. Good Luck to you!

The 4 digit passkey number will be on the TCU silver box above the cd changer in the trunk behind the driver side panel. Pull the trunk liner away from the silver box and use a flashlight to see up to the black box above the silver box. There is a white label there with a 4 digit code preceded by the letters "PK".

Your dealer can also look it up for you as well. Make sure they don't charge you for it.
