the value of a vehicle changes from month to month in the book- it has nothing to do with what the dealer has it priced at. vehicles depreciate every month, and with every mile that is put on them. that being said, the book is a guide, not written in stone, so if a truck is hard to find, it can command a higher price, and also, if a truck is in poor shape, it will not bring book price.
