Concerning the 348 engine option---what are the various engine codes for the 250,280,305 and 315 HP blocks? ALSO,,when were these higher compression engines available as options?

Question type: General

Were the 305 and 315 engines offered later in the model year???
Were the 250 and 280 engines also available later in the model year?

Other than the 11/1 compression,,,what made the 305 and 315 engines different from the 250 and 280 engines??
THANK YOU

The 250 engine was, but the others weren't. I'm not sure about the engine codes.
