Are you the original owner of the car? How many miles are on the car? Regular maintenance performed? (oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, wires, etc...) Is the check engine light on? Just a few questions that might help me assist you in solving the issue.
The car has 6500 klm on it,,,the second owner,,,regular maintenance done,,,the check engine light isn't on. My son damaged the transmission and another one had to be put in,,,with the same milage on it,,,which was done at a dealership. The car burns twice the amount of fuel. When he first purchased the car the gas milage was great.30-35 klm
If your fuel consumption has truly doubled this is more than just a maintenance issue. Something has gone seriously wrong with the car. I would expect it will turn out to be electronic and any competent shop should be able to find fault codes that will identify the problem.
