how come the 02 grand cherokee 4.7 and the 03 oil sending units have different wiring? only problem I had with the swap.

On the 02 there is a safety feature that shuts down the engine which requires a 3 wire setup. ! wire on the 03... Weird that they woyuld eliminate that feature...

That feature had too many problems for a long time, GLAD it was removed!!!!!!!!
