why i have to fill or top up the coolant every two to three days a week?

YOu have a coolant leak or worse blown head gasket!!! its time to be scared and take it to mechanic!!

You didn't state the year but Ford Taurus's have head gasket problems, as the previous post stated, time for a mechanic to do a block check.
