How can I unlatch the hood of my Explorer ? I have pulled the "opener" from inside the vehicle, but it won't release. I need to check my engine fluids and wiper fluid.

Your cable may be off adjustment get a second person to tap and pull up on the hood, while you pull the cable. Then you need to have it adjusted. Good luck... Mike
