I just got a used 2005 ford escort that has been sitting a short while I started and drove it only about 5 miles to get gas and when I started it to leave it wouldn't start and the radio and heater want work but it did start up again so I could bring it home I don't know if the radio was working before because I didn't try it til after it started the second time however the blower on the heat did start blowing but only cold air want should I try to look for these problems

my 94 escort would start but if i didnt keep the key on long enough for it to start, then try again..theres nothing as if a dead battery, but when i push start it it started. then it did it today 1 Answer

i have a 99 ford escort lx 5 speed new tranny and clutch. the other day i was going up the hill started to chug like i was in to high of a gear, stuck it in first still contiuned pulled over turned it off now it wont start it cranks tho, I checked everything it is getting spark and fuel. and all fuses are good. anyone have a clue? 1 Answer

battery is good i also tried jumping and popping the clutch, when i try starting it just keeps cranking

i have no lights, radio, no power at all. there is no click when i turn the key, and i know the battery is fully charged because i checked it with a meter.
