My 1996 Ford Contour Gauges quit working. Car itself loses power and then shuts down. Bought new battery and alternator reads fine. Put on a new belt. Can jump it off it will run for about 3 minutes and do the same thing. Any Ideas? Help Please......

It could be your fuel filter or pump. But it could also be a lose battery cable.Try putting tin foil on your battery posts then put cables back on if this works then you need new cables or post connectors.
