i have a 1995 mustang 3.8 auto will a 2004 3.8 work in it

From what I can tell the motor has the same block from 1994 - 2004. But in 99 I believe they added new heads so they may have changed other components two. I my experiences If the block is the same it's usually fairly easy to put a new motor in an older vehicle, just might have to swap intakes and maybe injectors and the efi sensors. The quickest way to get answers would be a mustang Forum, the essex is fairly popular. I know they are adding these newer heads to the older motors for more power but I did not look into what else had to be changed. Good Luck
