Long Tube Header legality

Question type: Car Customization

I want to compliment my new S/C with some JBA long tubes and a catted H-pipe. Has anyone had any trouble with getting
inspected because of it? Technically moving the OE cats is illegal but everyone does it anyway.

I believe the major factor here is what state and area you live in; some are more lax than others. Have you tried running the question by any mustang owners that have run those parts and gone for an emissions test with them on? If you're real worried, you could always save your old OE manifold and catted downpipes and throw those back on when you go for the tests/inspection. But that's a lot of work since longtubes rarely install easily....

it is legal to move the cats back, you ok their.you cant add or remove one.
