why does my drivers side brake light stay on

I wonder if the other brake light is burnt out and they say on because of something wrong with the brake light switch down on the brake pedal.

I have 2005 Silverado 1500 and the abs and brake light came on speed sensors was good fluid was good so I disconnected the positive side on battery for about 10 minutes and reset computer and It went off that’s been about a year ago and it’s still off
