68 Roadrunner can someone able to check a vin number for me please .
Something does not seem right...see below web site.. http://www.genocide2600.com/~traviso/mml/bodydecode.html#vindecode
That's because the car is NOT a 68 Roadrunner, it's a 1969 Satellite. The vin decodes as so; R- means Belvedere/Satellite model H- High price class 23- 2 door hardtop F- 318 engine 9- 1969 (model year) G- built in St. Louis The last 6 digits are sequential production numbers. Sorry to tell you this, but somebody burned you. Somebody put Roadrunner decals/emblems on a Satellite & passed it off as a Roadrunner. The 2 cars are basically identical, except for a few small details That's what they call a "Clone".
