Is run flat tire can be mixed with non run flat BMW 135I 2010 M package
I changed my back run flat tires for Yokohama S drive and with the combination of the Bridgstone Run Flat in the front the Car is now very nervous and want to follow all the holes in the street
The car is Over steering and tuff to keep in strait line
Is an alignment could fix my problems or
Should I changed the tire back to RFT or should I changed the front for Yokohama
Thanks in advanced for your help
You should not mix RFT with non RFT's. You will experience what you are now, bad handling. Most tire manufacturer recommend again this, surprised your installer let you install them. The alignment alone won't help you. Either take the new ones back and replace with RFT's or change the fronts to Non-RFT. Have them check the alignment while your at it.
I guess the garage that propose those tire didn't know what they were doing ? I even ask them if they were compatible and they told me yes !
The run flats have a harder sidewall. So the imbalance of the tires you will get oversteer and oscillation on the highways. Not very safe. Driving to the grocery store you might not notice it. I don't like RFT, so I'd replace the fronts with the new Yoko's.
