Redesign in the works?

Asked by Jan 05, 2010 at 10:10 AM about the Porsche Panamera

Question type: General

Wonder if porsche would ever do a smaller version of the panamera with a shorter wheel base?

Unlikely. Word from the factory is that they may share the platform with VW/Audi, but will not share power plants. Additionally, it is unclear how long the production run of the Panamera will be. Some say it will be a continuous development similar to the Cayenne while others say it will be discontinued after a few years of the current run. We will see.

too bad, the panamera could have been such a prettier car if the wheel base was shorter and the exterior was not so stretched out. From what I hear the handling is wonderful.
