Ford focus 2005

Asked by David May 21, 2017 at 03:59 PM about the 2005 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 focus.Had front passenger hub and bearing
changed. When we left the shop the car barely
responded when you pressed the gas and sounded
like rim was warped and was rubbing. Then the
emergency brake light came on and the car ran
fine. The car does this now almost everytime i start
it, and does not run right until the emergency light
comes on. If i put it in neutral the engine revs up
just fine but does not respond in drive. I had the
shop do a diagnostic on the car and the mechanic
said it was a evap purge solonoid but that kust
doesnt make sense to me. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

I think you should find a more reputable shop and see what they say , then report the original jerk because to me they screwed something up and won't take care of it . Take them to court if you have to .
