Your original equip was either a 215/75-15 or a 235/65-15. Using the Discount Tire calculator- http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos, it appears that the 235/75 is 1.85" bigger around than the 235/65. I would think that they would fit, but might rub under tight steering situations. Also, your speedo would be off by over 4 mph at 60.

It's just that I have a set of 4 brand-new snowies left over from the previous full size GM van and would like to keep them. Could I damage the front suspension with a taller tire?

I would sell the larger tires rather than take the risk of having a too-big tire on the vehicle.

HI, I HAVE A 1995 ASTRO WITH 235/70/15 TYRES I TRIED 255/75/15s BUT THEY RUBBED ON THE BODY KIT. POSSIBLY 255/65/15s MIGHT WORK.

Sunrunner - did you find that 235x70x15 rub on the body in turns? I want to fit this size on my '91 AWD Astro but don't want them to rub. Thanks

I just updated my 225/70-R15 over to 235/75-R15 and they fit perfectly on my old 1994 Chevy Astro van. It looks bad ass with these big ass tires. No modification needed. They are the all terrain Goodyear Mud claws. They look aggressive & ride super smooth!

I have a set of P 235 75 15 that I've been wanting to throw on the van but I wasn't sure if they'd fit but from Reading This Thread it looks like they will
