What could be causing my Chevy Tahoe 2000 to not stay on?

I have 2000 chevy tahoe it has gas and battery is good. It starts up but then
dies with in a couple of seconds what else could be causing this issue?

Could be a few things. Maybe the starter, maybe a short circuit in the battery, maybe even the ignition switch.

asiaspeights' garage Thank you for your answer I appreciate it. I don't think it is the starter because it starts up then it dies after a few seconds.

I had this problem with my 2001 Tahoe. Ended up being a part wishing the fuel pump that failed. Mine ran rough right before it stalled. Hope this helps.

A part inside* the fuel pump. I had to change the whole pump out and never happened again.

Aztahoe I have a 03tahoe it runs for 5 to 10 mins then kills and won't start back till next day I changed everything electric is it the fuel pump also like urs

Check EGR valve, my Tahoe did the same thing. Changed the EGR valve and fixed it right up
