Interior lights won't go out when the door is closed

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I asked a question earlier on how to check the door jamb switches.  My switches appear to be good.  What else should I check to fix the interior light issue.  The light switch is not turned to keep the interior lights on and the doors are shut.  Any suggestions???

'94 Olds Ciera dome switch is integrated with the seatbelts. This was the first result in google search so it's the one I chose to post to. Dome light stayed on when car off and drained my battery. I was puzzling over where the front door plunger-type switch was (like on every car I've owned). Hint: Don't waste your time looking! The back doors have them, the front doors it's integrated with the upper part of the seat belt where connected to frame. I pulled it out 6 inches (like when you're putting it on) and let it go and retract. It went out! Yes, a very stupid system, and a project for later, but check this first *before you do anything else*.
