I have a 69 GTO and want to know if its a numbers matching. I have the numbers off the motor, trans and rear end.
You can check the last 6 digits on the VIN against the block, they should be the same. Pontiac started matching these after 1967. For the rear, you need the build sheet to know for sure. You can get that info from Pontiac Historic Services for a small fee. You can check the codes online yourself to see if they are 'date correct' for the car. But that won't tell you if the parts are factory original to the car. You need the build sheet. go here: http://www.phs-online.com/ also, you can find some serial number info here: http://www.1963pontiac.com/tools.htm
