Did I hook up my starter correctly?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT gets power, the engine just won't crank or turn
over. The battery is good with brand new terminals.

I agree. But I'd replace the "O" type connector on the smaller wires. Looks kinda questionable. HTH. -Jim
