Pontiac G6 tranny swap to grand prix?

I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 with a good
transmission... is it compatible to replace my
transmission in my 2007 Grand Prix?

Needs to be the same model number. I find Wikipedia is a pretty good source for that info. Search both cars there and see which transmission was being used in each car. If its the same, and since its the same year you should have no problem.
