Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a bent right tie rod on my ford edge 2007. I can see how to get the tie rod lose that close to the tire but looking at the other side all I see is a rubber boot. What do I need to do to get it lose on the other side?

1 Answer

tie rod remover tool, go to advance or autozone and get a loaner tool set for the tie rod, or if its damaged already you can put the nut back on it a few turns and hammer it until it pops out and then you can remove the nut and there you go
