Key must be programmed to start the auto.

The key I'm using came with ecu esl and eis as a set from same vehicle so presumed problem was from ecu to the car but I'm no technician so will get key reprogrammed and post result thanks

These components are programmed with a vehicle's VIN, so they must be done at an MB dealer. Be prepared for a lot of paperwork
