How do I mount a license tag on the front bumper? There is no mounting bracket/holes. Thanks, SSS

Dear SSS-- The 2001 Volvo S80 came with the mounting bracket for the front plate as a dealer installed item, just in case your state doesn't require a front plate. You can buy the bracket and the hardware at any Volvo dealer. It attaches to the bumper by drilling two small holes and screwing it on. Good luck from Bovan.

I kinda figuresd that i had to drill some holes. Any idea where they would be located? Any measurments or templates for positioning the holes. I'd hate to mess up the bumper with the holes in the wrong place. Thanks, SSS
