A '97 model is OBD II. The new computer will have to be programmed (flashed) using your vehicle identification number in order for it to work. HTH. -Jim
NO now we are really stuffed HELP
Jim how do I program or FLASHED the computer
It actually needs to be done by a service facility. They plug into the new computer and, using your vehicle identification number, program the new PCM (Computer) for your specific vehicle. Usually costs around $125.00. HTH. -Jim
You're welcome. Glad to help. Thank you for the best answer click. -Jim
