power windows, auto locks, and auto mirrors wont work

could be your GEM module or a broken wire in the pass thru,(wire harness that passes into door)

Broken wire caused window failure, pulddle lites in mirrors would come on at nite when pushing the non functionl window switch, no other window switches worked, interior lites worked fine with door open ignition off, if ignition switch on caused interior lites to rapidly blink rapidly like a disco,dash display blinked thru all its functions with a clicking noise from the fuse box area. A large black wire was broken in what looks like a plastic can in the door jam. Fused the wire back together and all was well. But this wire seemed more brittle than the others so when nothing makes sense again I will know where to look. This is an 05 taurus with 235k.
