crankshaft sensor

Asked by GuruBX3V5 Dec 24, 2018 at 07:38 PM about the 1992 Buick Riviera

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My serpentine belt snapped on my 1992
Buick Riviera it shredded so I replaced it and
the car had no spark. I replaced the 16 volt
fuse to the relay for the fuel pump and no
spark. A day later it started leaking the oil so
I don't know any other thing it could be. Any
suggestions?

The belt may have damaged the crank sensor or the cam sensor. It may have damaged the wire going to either of the sensors. If the crank sensor is bad, the car will not start.
