I swapped the ignition module from a Buick 2003 3.4L engine to my buick 3.1. car starts and runs ok (a little rough). can i damage things by doing this or are they interchangeable, I 1 Answer

the ignition control module for both the 3.1l and 3.4l are identical in appearance and all wires and plugs fit. So now my 3.1 is running on a 3.4l ignition module. Is this O.K.?
