What does it keep overheating?

I have a 2006 Buick Rendezvous and I have had the water pump and
thermostat replaced. He flushed out the radiator and replaced the plug.
Sometimes I can drive a few miles with no overheating and then 2 hours drive it
again and it will overheat. What could cause this problem

Maybe a low coolant level? Head gakset issue? Have him look over your car again and perform some tests.
