Car burns a lot of gasoline


I have always thought that if it got less than 10MPG it was a gas hog. But I would not consider any Buick a gas hog. Even my old Park Avenue got 24 on the open highway. Now a Ford V10 Super Duty would fall in that category as well as the Chrysler V10 and the 6.0 liter GM. But they seem to get better than 10mpg if tuned and geared properly. So tell your friend to wash his mouth out, then look at the fuel consumption ratings of various makes before making such a statement, unless he is a Prius lover, then everything but his type of car is a gas hog.


A gas hog is generally a vehicle that uses an usually high amount of fuel in comparison to most models on the market. Most (not all) SUVs are considered "gas hogs" many of the big bodied "boat cars" generally luxury sedans when compared to todays hybrids are considered "gas hogs".

Correction.....Buick = Sly old fart's car Good quality, nice interiors, 3800 V6 cars get good mileage.
