Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replace the master cylinder on 1965 Ford Thunderbird. I did bleed all the
lines but now my pedal is very hard. What did wrong?

The booster probably has an adjustment. Try looking it up on the web.

Great answer. Yes you are right. There is an adjustment. Now the big question is I understand how to adjust but how long the push rod should be?there is any specs ?

A vintage Ford forum might help. I doubt I could find this on the web but I might just adjust it a little at a time and once you know you are going in the right direction it should not take long to make it less sensitive. If I am not mistaken there are holes in the brake pedal lever that you can move the rod to. I would go to a lower hole which should give less boost. Good luck to you. Some people have to drill a new hole to get it right.
