Is it the canister located on the frame under the driver's side of the truck?

that is a very common location. go to rockauto.com and look up the part and compare what it looks like to the one under your truck.

Yes it is located on frame driver side.

It was on the frame but it was on the upside next to the left front wheel. Didn't expect it to be that close to the engine...thanks for you help..have a great day.
