Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1965 Impala SS.  All the molding was off when I got it so it's been fun sorting out the chrome puzzle.   Anyway, all of it is kinda easy except for the molding that goes at the BOTTOM of the windshield.  2 pieces.  Hold it in place it is the right pieces.  BUT!!!  I'm not getting how it goes on.  There are new clips for the top and side pieces but not certian at all about the bottom.  I've looked at others and it looks like it goes on the vent cowl...
Can anyone tell me how it goes on?  What clips do I need???  Does it attach to the cowl, windshield???

Thanks much,
John

John, I just saw your questions and didn't know if you found your answer yet. To remove the lower moldings, you must remove the wiper arms first and then the cowl top panel. Once removed, the lower molding screws are now able to be removed. I'm pretty sure there are three or four on the bottom and one in the door jamb. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions or need additional information. Fran
