How do you reset the low tire pressure alert on a 2004 chevy impala

I have had all of my tires checked and they all have the appropriate amount of pressure in them but I can't make the low tire pressure alert light go off.

turn your manual light switch on/off 3 times until clears

When I turned my ignition to accessory and pulled the Park lights on off 3 times my tire pressure light did go off but also did my oil change light which had been perplexing as well! I got two with one function, LOL.
