Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I don't want to sell the car.  It's been well maintained, by a Toyota specialist shop,
since I bought it in '95 with 78,500 mi. (in "cream puff condition per my mechanic).
The shop has all the records.  It still gets 35 or more mpg on the highway, ca. 22 in
town (if I have to do any significant amount of idling).  Brakes are good, body is good,
with some minor denting of driver side front fender.  Windshield was replaced last year
and is in mint condition.   All the electrical parts work fine. It's a very reliable car and I
don't plan on selling it soon, but I need to know the blue book value for insurance
purposes.

Karl, Blue Book does not help, as it only goes back 20 years.

My grandpa has this 1980 Toyota Corolla in mint condition he kept it in a storage for 40 years and he gave me his car the car was in Frisco TX, he said he drove it for 120 miles and decided to keep its value so almost new car I had to change the oil and ac filter it was covered in dust and leaves so I had to power wash it the price is like 30,000 or 20,000 in mint condition.
