1990 Toyota Celica 2200 16 valve don’t know if it is a 1.6 or 2.2 liter engine

Researching as a DIY. I need to replace the starter box t I
can’t tell if the engine is a 1.6 or a 2.2 liter. Unde the hood
it says 2200 16 valve. Help please
