96 Corolla stills overheating after replacing radiator,therm,checked waterpump,fans are coming on properly

My corolla stop on me on the freeway while i was going and the radiator went out i replace it and it over heated and i found out the timing belt is missing and i was wondering if i buy the timing belt will it still over heat ?
