1998 Chevy 1500 5.7. Experiencing a miss. Misses at idle but quiet, misses at speed but accompanied by a noise that sounds like popcorn being popped in the muffler.

I have replace the Distributor cap and rotor, plugs and wires and finally the entire distributor. ""Didn't fix it""... Replaced Injection spider. ""Didn't fix it"".
Please Help!!!

Change the fuel, it might've gotten water in it. Check timing

First double check your firing order, it is really easy to cross 2. A popping sound under load could be a bad cam, one or more of the lobes could be worn enough that the valves might not be opening enough. you will have to pull the valve covers and check the rocker arm throw of each cylinder.
