Timing belt or timing chain

I have a 2006 3.5 L monte Carlo I was wondering if
it has a timing belt or a timing chain I have 200,000
km on it I was wondering if I need to change it

It's your lucky day. Your 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.5 liter engine runs on a timing chain and will normally last the life of the engine with no additional maintenance.
