why when i get gas, it wont start right away

That is usually due to over filling the gas tank, your suppose to stop filling when the gas nozzle click off the first time. The canister in the EVAP system get saturated with gas, or gas as gotten into the EVAP system threw a solenoid valve. May need to get the EVAP system checked.
