where is the transmission solenoid located

car feels like its going in gear but want move on any gear but reverse could that be the solenoid

It could be, have you tried to select any other forward gear other than the Drive setting? Doing that you are overriding the TCM and sending a signal to that shift solenoid, so put it in low and see if it drives forward, if it does then there could be a problem with the TCM, if it doesn't move then it is possible that the solenoid pack needs replaced, it is located inside the trans behind the side cover and it is a real bear to get off with the tranny inside the car.

yes I did try all gears I really wanted to make sure if that's wat it was because I didn't want to buy a transmission

you may not need a tranny, just the solenoid pack, most tranny shops can do this but they will have to check it out just to be certain.
