What does the mass airflow sensor do when its going bad??? While driving up a hill it acts like its not getting enough gas and shakes. Sometimes it shuts off on me. And what does the mass airflow sensor plug into???

Before you replace expensive parts try the cheap ones first,replace the fuel filter,and have someone check your fuel pressure.If the M.A.F fails all together you won't be going anywhere because the engine will not run.
