interior dash lights dont work not the fuses

i have a 2001 grand am se when my tail lights and dash lights went out i knew it was the
fuse i replaced the fuse and it fixed the tailights but the dash lights still dont work the
service engine lights work but none on the radio or dash ive tried everything anyone no
what i can do?

Im having the same problem, fixed every mini fuse and relay connected to the running lamps. But behind my radio there was a black ground wire connected to the frame, but not anything else. No other random wires hanging anywhere, could this ground wire be the issue?

under the dash up on the steering colum is a dimmer switch... its 3 wire i think n take off the dimmer switch n just rum a jumper wire or just replace it...
