Can a Pontiac fender and frame be fixed?

Asked by GuruDZBP8D Dec 01, 2023 at 08:09 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was in a crash today (not my fault) a car hit me
right in front of the front passenger tire just by the
headlight. I have a watermelon sized dent below the
light. BOTH headlights are loose and angled down,
the hood has a two inch strip of metal that’s now
curled under itself. My passenger door won’t open
without popping bc the fender was shoved back
into it. Is this possible to have fixed in a shop or is it
a lost hope? My father told me there’s no point to
try and fix it as it’s not possible. I’m trying not to
give up because this is the only bit of freedom I
have to go out and about. I paid for this car in cash
after working hard all year, and i can’t afford a new
car. The car itself runs just fine. The only issue are
the lights hood and fender. Is this at all possible to
fix?

You can pull it apart bang things back where they go if you're so inclined , But it's a caveman thing and you can throw cosmetics out the window . Head lights have to be pointed correctly you don't want to be one of those people , Some states don't allow any loose/rusted/damaged body panels , At All

not too bad... try the youtube techniques to fix the bumper/facia. light might need some alignment... good luck.
