My 2004 pont. Sunfire won't shift out of park, nor do any of my guages work when I turn on the car. I checked the fuses and they're good.

Are you pressing on the brake pedal when you are trying to shift out of park? And sometimes there is a button or you may have to move the boot on the shifter to get to the release the shifter from park. I can get ya out of a bind if it is not letting you shift from park with the brake engaged. if all the fuses are good check the switch on the brake pedal and make sure you brake lights are working with the car on and pedal pressed.
