Did the repair shop miss these items?

Asked by GuruLL7DS Apr 08, 2019 at 11:58 AM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After the dealership repaired my daughters car, replacing the tie rods, it has
the ABS light on and makes a clunking noise when you turn. Took it back to
the dealership and they are now saying that the stabilizer lings are bad on
both sides.  and that the wire harness is cut on the front hubs.

This sounds strange to me

Couldn't have said it better, "tennisshoes". Starting up a relationship with a local shop is the best move for many of us. I know I have enjoyed a relationship I started about 20 years ago when I moved to Florida. The real benefit to me besides not having to listen to the dealer BS, is that they work on what you bring them - no brand loyalty. They have worked on 5 cars of mine of different makes and never failed me.
